What we would LOVE for you to see

The North Shore holds a special place in our hearts — between the mountains, ocean air, and the many bike rides and hikes we've shared there over the years. It felt like the perfect place to gather the people we love most and celebrate together. Here is a non-extensive list of the things we would recommend for your trip.

(H) Grouse Mountain: Grouse Grind (you've been warned), Cleveland Damn, Capilano Suspension Bridge (very not free)

Lynn Valley: Lynn Valley Link (see some horses, well maintained), Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge (free)

(H) Cypress Mountain: Bowen Island Lookout (wow! sunset! wow!)

Lighthouse Park (wedding venue trail, bring a pair of shoes! why not)

(H) Seymore Mountain or Deep Cove: Quarry Rock (short and sweet with doughnuts at the end)

(H) Sea-to-Sky Gondola (exactly as it sounds)

Stanley Park Seawall (10km...)

West Vancouver Seawall (more like 5km)

Granville Island (market, restaurants and seawall connection on the water)

Mt. Garibaldi (full day hike but brilliantly worth it)

Beach

*Whytecliff Park (*high chances of whales, sea lions or seal sightings!)

Jericho Beach & Spanish Banks (best sandy beach)

Wreck Beach (best overall beach, but also nude)

Caulfield Cove Beach (private and small with sand)

Golf

Gleneagles Par-3 (9-hole)

Ambleside Beach Pitch and Put (Par-3 18 hole)

Furry Creek ("most scenic golf course in BC")

Must do:

Take the foot passenger water taxis ("Aqua Bus" or "False Creek Ferry) in False Creek

Take the Seabus to and from Lonsdale to Vancouver City (public transit!)

North Vancouver Shipyards evenings (and movie nights)

Harmony Arts Festival West Vancouver (Aug 7, 8, 9)

Take the ferry to Bowen Island (full day trip)
